Nearly Didn't Order It Honestly, I've been caught out by Facebook ads before, ordered a coat that turned up looking nothing like the advert. Nearly didn't bother with this one either. Glad I did though — it arrived exactly as pictured, no funny smell, no cheap feel. It's become my proper everyday bag, the one I grab without thinking. Wish I'd got it sooner instead of overthinking it for a month.

The One Thing I Was Dreading

The one thing I was dreading was the corners going within a few months, like my last vegan leather bag did. It's been a good few months of it living on my arm every day, in and out of the car, dumped on café floors, the lot. Still looks the same as day one. That's honestly the bit I'm most chuffed about, not the style.

Thought It'd Make Me Look Frumpy

I nearly went for a smaller bag because I thought a big soft one would just make me look like I'd given up. It's the opposite really — it's squashy and soft in a good way, sits nicely on the shoulder and doesn't look like I'm hauling a holdall around Tesco. Still getting used to how much fits in it, but no complaints.

Wasn't Sure It Was Worth It

Wasn't sure I could justify the price for something that isn't real leather, if I'm honest. But I'd rather buy one good one than three cheap ones that fall apart, and that's exactly what this feels like. It doesn't weigh a ton empty either, which matters when you're already carrying a coat, a brolly and everyone else's stuff.

Never Heard Of The Brand

Never heard of this brand before, which usually puts me right off. Had a proper look at the reviews and the actual bag first though, not just the photos. It's a really well used sort of bag if that makes sense, the kind that gets better the more you carry it about. About time someone made an everyday bag that isn't precious.

Worried It'd Go Shapeless

Worried it would end up shapeless within a few weeks, the way soft bags usually do once you start filling them. Mine's had a laptop, a diary and the usual black hole of receipts and hairbands in it since it arrived, and it's still holding its shape properly. Proper comfy on the shoulder too, no digging in.
